My art is about light and time.
It is about growth and change.
I love transparency, reflection, and I dwell on mortality.
It is all about time. Time to enjoy life!
The time of day, time of life, how little or great the time.
Kathleen was fortunate to be allowed to paint on walls as a child. Why stop playing now? She is comfortable in many mediums and enjoys the strength and inspiration of the People and Prairies around her.
She enjoys working in Interim care doing interactive portraits with residents.
She also works with Artists in Healthcare as an artist in residence with outpatient cancer patients at Cancer Care Manitoba while they get treatment. The Art Next to the BIG Blue Chair program is the only one of its kind. Kathleen works as chemotherapy nurse in her spare time.
Educated in Manitoba and Alberta. Her work is represented in Edmonton, Victoria and most importantly at home in Manitoba.
