Time spent in the studio provides her with refuge and rejuvenation from the daily demands of human service work, and shines a rainbow of light into the dark corners of human experience. Renay seeks to reflect the abundant beauty in the world and convey a sense of positive energy and vibrancy through fluid acrylics, traditional acrylics, watercolour and coloured pencil, as the mood dictates. Her works range from representational to abstract depending on the subject and mood to be captured.
